I’ve used that recipe before! If my son cleans his room every day, at the end of the week I’ll make him a treat of his choice. One time he chose hot chocolate, and I didn’t read the comments about cutting the sugar... he didn’t like it. Didn’t want to finish it. I felt so bad!

I just bought a roasting pan like 2 days ago and I told my sister the same thing 😆 I was like, “You know you’re an adult when you get excited about new pots/pans!” I think it applies to everything that’s house related though like candles, picture frames, rugs 😌 That hot chocolate looks good!

My sister and I just bought my dad a new nonstick skillet, and like you said, it's really night and day. I don't have to soak for ages to get burned stuff out! It's amazing!
Me: *learning that the lifespan of non-stick pans is about 5 years; then remembering that my pans are slowly not working well because they've existed in my possession for almost 5* ... Oh.

Homemade hot chocolate is something I got into when I noticed there was some baker's chocolate just kicking around, with very delicious results!
My recipe, for those that want:
Ingredients (for 2)
2 cups milk
2 tbsp sugar
1 oz (28 grams) unsweetened baker's chocolate
1/4 tsp vanilla extract or almond extract
1/2 pinch salt (optional)
1. Place the milk, sugar, chocolate, vanilla, and salt in a saucepan. Heat on medium-low, whisking occasionally.
2. Remove from heat once chocolate has fully melted. (Steam beginning to rise from the surface of the milk is a good indication of this.) For extra froth, give the mixture one final, fast-paced whisk along the surface.

Friday is also pizza day in my house well not always but it is a lot of the time though.
